Karin RingstroemProject Manager
If you were to visit Karin, (our Norwegian born, Danish resident), you would not go hungry. Karin loves to bake and cook. Some of her favourite creations include fresh bread, freshly baked danish, pizzas, pastas, as well as Indian and Thai food, quite an array. In her spare time Karin enjoys walking her dog, taking in the great outdoors, listening to rock music and following Chelsea and various other sports. She is not so keen on Manchester United or pickled Onions. Karin finds FSC a great company to work for as she enjoys the international experience she gains by working in different cultures, with different people and cuisines.
Keith AllenHead Development Chef
Keith is one of our music maestros - you can catch him either playing on the stage or watching at the front! Keith travels extensively and loves discovering new cultures and cuisines - he recently spent Christmas in Kolkata followed by New year in Goa. Hailing from Chelsea, he still hasn't got over having to give up his season ticket when he moved to the West Country! Dislikes: Litter, rudeness and so-called 'fun' fairs!
Peter BreakwellNational Account Manager UK & Ireland
Pete has been with FSC since 1999. He enjoys working with great people and the diversity of work he has experienced across his various roles. Pete cooks a mean curry and loves travelling, big hugs, swimming, playing cricket and following the rugby. His favourite meal to eat is a roast with his family but keep the pickled herring at bay!
Ruth FingletonNew Product Development Manager
Ruth joined FSC in early 2013, and she appreciates the flexibility and team spirit that comes from working for a smaller company. Outside of work Ruth is a mum of two boys who keep her on her toes and loves spending sunny days on Clevedon seafront or in Cornwall with her family. Ruth is a big foodie and loves trying out new restaurants when she can and at home likes to cook warming comfort food such as roast dinners and casseroles. Ruth aspires to one day run her own business.
James SimpsonManaging Director
James is our Ironman and he has been busy over the last year preparing for and entering numerous triathlon style events, with some great results. When James isn't training and competing, he enjoys baking bread, curing meats and eating the home-made produce with some of his favourite cheeses. He loves spending time with the family, out on the hills, down on their smallholding or lunching in a country pub. James has been at FSC since 1991 and he enjoys each and every day and the variety they bring. James believes that commitment to quality and FSC’s ability to innovate in both product and service has been the key to our success. He is determined to keep innovation at the core of our investment in the future.
Paul GolledgeIT Systems Development
Paul is a recent author of a great book called 'Souldrop', so it is unsurprising that he lists text-speak and poor grammar on his list of dislikes. When he is not working on his next book, he is focusing on his son, and playing his guitar as loud as possible in his band. If you ask him to dinner and he offers to bring dessert be careful, it is likely to be his own creation - a dish called 'creeping death chocolate mousse'. You have been warned!
David WorthingtonDevelopment Chef
David has a wealth of knowledge in creating exciting dishes. Thai is his favourite meal out but at home David loves to bake homemade bread. His least favourite food is his Nans over cooked roast dinners! David would love to visit Greece, Thailand and Australia, however given he is not a keen flyer, Greece will probably be the first to tick off the list. In his spare time, David likes to play football and cricket, and plays in his local teams. When not running around on a pitch, he enjoys cooking dinner for family and friends.
Stefano VigoJunior Development Chef
Stefano grew up in Veneto, an Italian region in the north east of Italy, well known for Prosecco, the region's capital Venice and its large variety of food. Stefano’s love for food started from a very young age as he learned how to cook from his family. He went on to study at culinary colleges and has worked in professional kitchens. What Stefano loves most about his job is the opportunity to play with food, developing various combinations, to create different flavours and textures. Though in his opinion, these should remain simple so they enhance the final product. As a development chef he can do all these kind of things in addition to spending time mastering a preparation technique or recipe.Stefano is an adventurous guy and has done shark cage diving, he's laid down next to a tiger and has ridden an ostrich, but skydiving and scuba diving are part both of his wish list. He would also really love to go to India one day. In his spare time he loves cooking, eating and travelling, watching films, meeting up with friends and simply relaxing at home with my girlfriend.
