Ruth FingletonNPD Manager
Ruth joined FSC in early 2013, and she appreciates the flexibility and team spirit that comes from working for a smaller company. Outside of work Ruth is a mum of two boys who keep her on her toes and loves spending sunny days on Clevedon seafront or in Cornwall with her family. Ruth is a big foodie and loves trying out new restaurants when she can and at home likes to cook warming comfort food such as roast dinners and casseroles. Ruth aspires to one day run her own business.
Rita DennyTechnical Consultant
Green fingered Rita has been with FSC since 2009. She enjoys working for a family business and the travel that she does within her role. When Rita is not working her perfect day would start with a lie in with coffee in bed, followed by walking the dog and then putting her feet up with a good book in front of an open fire.
Jude CarrFood Safety Manager
Who doesn't like a good steak? Jude certainly does as it's her favourite food. She's not keen on biscuits though as she doesn't like the way they go crunch! For Jude it's the same as wet wool, or nails on a chalkboard. Jude's favourite holiday would be sunning it up in Mexico, preferably with some cocktails in hand. She likes to spend her spare time baking and feeding everyone in sight, upcycling junk shop furniture, hanging out with her bearded dragon called Velcro and sweating it out in the gym with her fiancée.
Andrea StradlingNPD Technologist
Since moving out of the big smoke, Andrea has enjoyed exploring the countryside and the local area: she loves trying out different country pubs. She also enjoys going for a run along the beach. A keen learner, Andrea continues to undertake various studies since completing full time education. Her favourite food is anything hot and spicy, but she will always order a risotto if its on the menu. Her pet hate is fruit – either it's too hairy, too fuzzy, too mushy, or has too many pips! She makes up for this with her love of vegetables, cooked or raw for her five a day! Andrea's favourite destination is India, where she would love to live one day. She would also like to do a road trip around the USA – particular the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Japan is also on the list of places she would like to visit. Andrea is a talented lady and can tap dance, play the piano and drums, but not yet all at the same time!
Natalie HaywardNPD Technologist
Natalie is our sports junkie and enjoys a range of activities such as running, cycling, swimming, most gym classes and hiking. Her goal for next year is to complete the 3 peaks challenge in 24 hours and take part in a tough mudder and / or commando challenge. When she's not doing some sort of sporting activity, Natalie loves reading, driving, video editing, photography and eating. Her favourite food is a good Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Although enjoying most foods, she's not a fan of spaghetti Bolognese as it’s just too messy. Natalie's favourite holiday destination is Rome as she loves all the history and culture. She also likes skiing in the Alps of Northern Italy.
Rachel ScottNPD Technologist
Rachel likes how a day in the food industry is never the same as the day before and gets a lot of satisfaction from creating a great product for people to enjoy. Her favourite foods are Japanese Gyoza Dumplings and Buffalo Chicken Wings. Her least favourite foods are boiled eggs and Stilton. Rachel loves to travel, so she has numerous favourite holiday destinations, but her recent, most memorable place is Istanbul for amazing food, sights and culture. Japan and Canada are on her list to visit next. In her spare time, Rachel loves being a food tour guide around Bristol on weekends, and taking people to independent places trying delicious food. Her future goal is to learn how to scuba dive.
