We offer a range of consultancy services drawing on our in depth knowledge of the food-on-the-move sector and have managed projects in South America, North America, Asia, Scandinavia and several European countries.

Our Head Office is located in the world famous village of Cheddar and, although many of the teams are based throughout the UK and Europe, we regularly get together to review performance, share best practice and socialise!

The role will involve:

  • To be the main focal contact for manufacturers & distribution supplier
  • Resolving raised issues with suppliers to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Review the process to improve the service given to FSC’s customers
  • Identifying any potential cost savings & deliver them
  • Supporting suppliers with ingredient/packaging supply
  • Ensuring delivery issues are resolved quickly & any necessary actions implemented with the distributor
  • Understand the other roles within the Operations Team & offer support/cover
  • Support other FSC departments when required
  • Manage any designated projects to it’s conclusion
  • Travel to manufacturing and distribution sites as well as ingredient supplier & packaging manufacturers visits

Key skills and experience needed:

  • Background in Supply Chain is a distinct advantage
  • Ideally exposure to working with a large number many SKUs
  • Good computer literacy – particularly Excel
  • Numerical analytical skills
  • Dynamic and results driven, with previous experience of successfully providing administration to the Supply Chain function and efficiently maintained records
  • Excellent organisations skills
  • Diligent and hands on
  • Able to work under own initiative
  • Able to accurately follow instructions
  • Ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Experience of food production and/or chilled foods would be of benefit
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • You have a natural can do attitude and attention to detail that allows you to work fast but efficiently
