REPORTS TO: Project Lead and Sourcing Lead

LOCATION: Malaysia Office, Selangor, KL

Purpose of role:

To play a proactive and integral role within the Private Label agile team by supporting the Project Lead and Sourcing Lead in the effective delivery of projects and ongoing business supply chain operations.

The key deliverables will focus on responsibility for supply chain set ups, and managing product availability across manufacturers, aggregator and wholesalers.

The role will also require business development support co-ordinating samples for major conferences and potential new customers

In addition, you would be looking at continuous improvement to ways of working. To undertake online market research to build and maintain a competitor database, and provide reliable documentation, data analysis, and coordination support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to agreed timelines when required.

 

The role will involve:

· Provide day-to-day supply chain support to the Private Label Project Lead & Sourcing Lead based in Europe.

· Manage Product Availability across Manufacturers, Aggregator and Wholesalers to ensure full stock availability in line with various production schedules, Minimum Order Quantities for production and packaging from different suppliers.

· Business Development support Co-Ordinating Samples for major conferences and potential new customers.

· Some customer sales data sorting and analysis (work with Excel spreadsheets).

· Responsible for providing performance data in line with customer meetings.

· Maintain and update product databases, new supplier and product setup forms, and other internal tracking documents.

· Assist with documentation such as product specifications, packaging approvals, and compliance forms.

· Contribute to process improvement by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency or better documentation.

· Online market research support for various customer presentations as required (competitors, trends etc.) as needed.

· Building competitor data for analysis, from competitor visits completed by other team members from around the world as needed.

Qualifications (academic and work-related)

· Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline. (supply chain, logistics, or business)

· Professional certifications like CIPS or CILT would be an advantage

 

Essential

· Experience with supply chain and stock control management (ideally within FMCG).

· Forecasting orders experience and review.

· Excellent organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI); experience with project management tools like Smart Sheet but not essential

· Strong Excel skills (such as Pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, Charts and reporting)

· Data analysis skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

· Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
